From Racehorse to Riding horse

Grasshopper is my flagship horse, absolutely has his hooves under the table and is strictly "on the firm"

I was lucky enough to call Alex Hales Racing to ask for a horse to re train for other equine sports.

Alex suggested that the Sir Bob, Stowe Racing & Friends syndicate owned Grasshopper Time was available for rehoming.

I admit unashamedly, that I fell in love with this little horse on first sight, and even more so when I rode him.

Grasshopper is uber intelligent and learns absolutely everything asked of him in super quick time.

So far he has been to two shows and won both his classes, one at Showjumping and one at Combined Training (Dressage + Showjumping) This in only two months of retraining is I think remarkable of a Racehorse who has run twice in NH flat races, once over Chase fences and 14 times over Hurdles!

Grasshopper now has an agender...we are planning shows to qualify for the British Showjumping Club Championships at Stoneleigh Park 11-13 August and the SEIB Trailblazers Championship at Addington 7-9 August where he will be competing in Showjumping and Combined Training (Not on all of these days in one week of course)
